LearnKey Releases New A+ Training
-New course is the most effective
way to become certified and further a career in information technology-
That’s why
LearnKey has produced the premiere A+
training course. The LearnKey A+ course is broken into the various domains,
A+ 2006: PC Components (5 sessions), A+ 2006: Laptops, Printers and Scanners (1
session), A+ 2006: Networking (2 sessions), A+ 2006: Operating Systems and
Troubleshooting (2 sessions), A+ 2006: Security, Safety and Professionalism (2
sessions). The full A+ Training Certification course is comprised of 12 sessions.
The new course
was created in conjunction with CompTIA objectives to best prepare those who
wish to pass CompTIA exams 220-601, 220-602, 220-603 or 220-604 and become
certified.
“A+ is one
of the first things IT professionals have to learn to be able to do their jobs,”
said John Clemons, CEO of LearnKey. “Having a CompTIA certification is an
absolute necessity, because it shows that the person who received it truly
knows what they’re doing. Those without A+ certification will likely find
themselves struggling to further their careers, if they can even get hired.”
A+
Certification emphatically states the recipient knows how to manage a computer,
including installation, configuration, diagnosing
problems, preventive maintenance and basic networking. The LearnKey course
prepares students for relevant questions on the exams, and also sections about
other topics such as security, safety, environmental issues, communication and
professionalism.
According
to a 2006 survey completed by Certification Magazine, certified IT
professionals can make up to 15 percent more salary than their un-certified
peers. The average A+ certified professional received an 11 percent raise in
their first year of certification. According to the survey the average 2006 base
salary for an IT pro was $76,500 and anyone can find a place to spend the extra
$8,000-$11,000.
LearnKey’s
A+ 2006 course is taught by renowned expert Mike Meyers, author of the best-selling
All-in-One A+ Certification Exam Guide,
now in its sixth edition. He’s also a co-founder of Total Seminars, which
trains corporations and government entities, including the FBI, in computer
certification skills.
LearnKey’s CompTIA
A+ 2006 costs $595.00 for individuals, or $1489.00 for a multi-user license.
